With several years experience in the hospitality business and with a formal college training in Safari Guiding & Tourism Management the owner of this lodge, Kanuth Tarimo, is determined to make your stay at Nyerere Green Lodge an amazing experience.

His main concerns for himself…

  • is to keep the Nyerere Green Lodge reasonably priced, and to make it one of the best lodges in Tanzania.

  • to achieve an Eco Lodge Certification such as the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

His main concerns for you, as a client are that…

  • he provides a high level of hygiene in the entire lodge.
  • your safety & comfort during your stay and on any safari tour you may participate in is ensured at all times.
  • you are confronted with “service with a smile” from all members of staff, and that they help you, no matter what, whenever the need arises.
  • that you are willing to complain to him for any contradiction of our mission that you have experienced…
    • on arrival you will be given a mobile phone number enabling you to reach Kanuth at any time
    • Kanuth will either act on your information himself or, in his absence, he will initiate a solution to your problems by contacting his most senior member of staff who is on location.
    • we would appreciate being asked to solve your issues as quickly as possible, whilst you are still with us, and hope that you give us a good review. That would be better for us both, rather than receiving your complaint after you have left with a bad review.
  • that you are willing to tell him of any concerns you have, even outside the lodge, during your stay
    • We may not be able to solve all issues that occur outside of the lodge, but those that we can, we will. And for those issues that are outside our control, we will advise you on what can be done.
  • that you experience a happy time at the lodge and whilst on any of Kanuth’s safaris./li>
